Bartolomé Bermejo

This anthological exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Museo del Prado, presents some of the fundamental works of Bartolomé de Cárdenas, alias El Bermejo (c.1440 - c. 1501).

Bermejo, of Cordovan origin, is one of the maximum representatives of the Gothic of the fifteenth century and is noted for its mastery of the technique of oil painting and its iconographic originality.

The exhibition, curated by Joan Molina, brings together works from various museums and collections in Spain, Europe and the United States.
