Summer starts with the Premi Llibreter!
The Premi Llibreter was awarded for the first time twenty years ago. It is a prize for published work that wants to highlight high-value titles that have not received the attention they deserve.
A jury of booksellers takes the final decision from the selection made by the bookshops all around the country. Laie has collaborated since the beginning and this year the bookseller Enric Aymerich has participated in the organization of the event.
The winning books of this year edition are:
- Literatura catalana: Pol Beckmann per Novel·la, Quaderns Crema
- Menció especial a Marta Marín-Dòmine per Fugir era el més bell que teníem, Club Editor.
- Altres literatures: Jenny Erpenbeck per Les formes del verb anar (traducció de Marta Pera Cucurell per a Angle editorial) / Yo voy, tú vas, él va (traducció de Francesc Rovira per a Anagrama)
- Menció especial a Kaouther Adimi per Les nostres riqueses (traducció d’Anna Casassas per a Periscopi) / Nuestras riquezas (traducció de Manuel Arranz per a Periscopi)
- Àlbum il·lustrat: Jessica Love, per Sirenes (traducció d’Anna Duesa) / Sirenas (traducció d’Esther Rubio), publicat per Kókinos
- Literatura catalana (infantil i juvenil): Raimon Portell per Camins d'aigua, Barcanova
- Altres literatures (infantil i juvenil): Frances Hardinge, per La cançó del cucut (traducció de de Xavier Pàmies) / La canción del cuco (traducció de Celia Felipetto) publicat per Bambú
