Poetics of emotion

The representation of emotions in art is the theme of this exhibition, which takes works from different periods but above all contemporary.

The exhibition is structured around three groups. In the first one, we reflect on works of art where the protagonists express pain or sadness (pathos). In the second we will find works where emotion is represented through metaphor, transferring the mood of the artist in the representation he makes of the landscape and architecture. And, in the third group, we will see works where art represents emotion in the social field (politics, social movements and popular celebrations, among others).
