The Center for Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB) organizes and produces exhibitions, debates, festivals, concerts, program film cycles, courses, conferences...
The center encourages the creation of new technologies and languages, promotes artistic research in areas such as multimedia, promotes research in the exhibition format, exports its productions to other cultural centers, museums and national and international entities, time that generates debate, thought and reflection around the city and public space as well as on the issues that are the backbone of today. Likewise, the CCCB collects and makes available to everyone part of its heritage, its memory and its archive in exhibition formats, publications, digital and audiovisual archives... It is an open space for groups of independent artists, creators and programmers, as well as diverse entities with which we have been creating links over the years. Thanks to all of them, we can guarantee a multidisciplinary and quality programming that drives contemporary culture.
